What makes the AMX different from other AM transmitters?
The AMX uses silicon carbide MOSFET RF amplifiers to deliver 5 kW in a single 5 RU chassis at over 85% AC-to-RF efficiency, small enough to ship by UPS or FedEx.

AMX 3 or AMX 5?
The AMX 3 covers 50 W to 3.4 kW and the AMX 5 covers 100 W to 5.6 kW. Pick the model whose range comfortably covers your day and night powers.

Does it support MDCL?
Yes. MDCL+ energy savings is standard. BE cites electricity savings of 50% or more for most AM stations.

Is it HD Radio and DRM ready?
Yes, the AMX supports analog AM, HD Radio and DRM. Orban Inside audio processing is available as an option.

How do I get pricing?

Typical lead time: about 6 weeks. This transmitter is built to order and sold by written quote and purchase agreement. Lead time is confirmed with the manufacturer when your order is placed.

Terms: Unless credit terms are approved in advance, a 50% deposit is due when the purchase agreement is signed, and the balance is due before the equipment leaves the manufacturer. Once signed and the deposit is paid, the order is final and the deposit is non-refundable.

Freight: Shipped by freight, quoted and billed separately. Inspect on arrival and note any damage on the delivery receipt before signing.
