Which STX model is right for an LPFM or FM translator?
The STXe 60 (6 to 70 W) and STXe 500 (25 to 550 W) cover 100 W LPFM and most translator authorizations, with headroom for transmission line loss. Tell us your ERP, antenna gain and line run and we will size it for you.

Is the STX HD Radio ready?
Yes. Every STX runs analog FM, HD Radio or DRM+ from the same direct-to-channel digital modulator. Adding HD Radio requires an importer/exporter (such as BE IXplus) and the HD license.

Does the STX include a stereo generator and RDS?
Yes. A digital stereo generator, dynamic RDS encoder, audio delay for SFN, and multiple program inputs with silence sense and automatic failover are built in.

How do I monitor and control it remotely?
Through the built-in HTML5 web interface, SNMP v3, email/SMS alerts, and a parallel GPIO port for remote control systems such as Burk. A 5,000-event log simplifies troubleshooting.

How efficient is it?
BE rates the STX at up to 75% AC-to-RF efficiency, with hot-pluggable front-access power supplies and RF modules for fast field service.

Typical lead time: about 6 weeks. This transmitter is built to order and sold by written quote and purchase agreement. Lead time is confirmed with the manufacturer when your order is placed.

Terms: Unless credit terms are approved in advance, a 50% deposit is due when the purchase agreement is signed, and the balance is due before the equipment leaves the manufacturer. Once signed and the deposit is paid, the order is final and the deposit is non-refundable.

Freight: Shipped by freight, quoted and billed separately. Inspect on arrival and note any damage on the delivery receipt before signing.
