The NX1 and NX2.5 bring Nautel's NX Series medium-wave platform to low-power AM, using a new 250 W RF power module as the building block.
- 2.5 kW rated (2.75 kW maximum), 530 to 1701 kHz
- Ten front-accessible, hot-pluggable 250 W RF power modules for redundancy and on-air serviceability
- Single phase 185 to 264 Vac, 0.95 power factor, 79% typical efficiency at rated power; Titanium-grade 96%-efficient switching power supplies
- Analog AM (mono and AM stereo), HD Radio including MA3 all-digital, and DRM; six-phase direct digital modulation with digital precorrection
- Built-in RF instrumentation with spectrum and impedance measurement; HTML Advanced User Interface with SNMP and email notifications; Power Saving MDCL included
- 17 RU, 29.75 x 19 x 23 in (75.6 x 48.3 x 58.4 cm), 125 lb (75 lb without power modules and B+ power supply)
- Options: standby exciter, redundant power modules and dual exciter configuration
